Event Description:
The Sam Bell Maxey House State Historic Site will be having a sleepover for your stuffed animal, doll, or action figure on the night of Friday, July 25. Register your stuffed animal, doll, or action figure at the Maxey House from 6:30 to7:00 p.m. for the sleepover. After introductions, everyone is invited to stay for an early bedtime story and snack beginning at 7:00 pm. At the end of the story, good byes will be said as everyone leaves the toys overnight with us, where the toys will have a sleepover at the Maxey House!
The toys can be picked up any time between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26. We'll give you back your toy along with pictures of the all the fun that was had at the sleepover. Activities and yard games will be set up around the site for everyone to participate in on Saturday, including some of the activities the toys did so you can also join in the fun.
