Event Description:

Nine months in the making, the 1000 pound structure represents the combined efforts of community businesses to represent the progression from entry into Cub Scouting to achieving the Eagle rank. Involved were Boy Scout volunteers , Turner Pipe (for concept and construction); Stephens Concrete and Coston Concrete (for the base containing almost 9 cubic feet of concrete) and Lamar County Water Supply for back hoe assistance in raising the totem. Come hear the story of the Totem, have a finger food, and celebrate 102 years of scouting @paristexastourism "our problems are manmade: therefore, we must solve them."
