Young Don Baker, hero of his mother's children's book series, "Donny Dark" has been blind since birth, his overprotective Mother following his every move.  Don finally decides in a move of independence, to take his own apartment in Manhattan and pursue his songwriting ambitions.  When Mother comes to visit and meeting his kooky neighbor, sexy actress Jill, those controlling instincts go into overdrive with both hilarious and quite touching results.  Sponsored by Turner Industries and Premier Home Care & Hospice
