Event Description:
There will be a 10:45 Parachute Jump, weather permitting. Other activities get underway at 11:00 am at the Red River Valley Veterans Memorial with Holly Bond welcoming guests and the posting of colors by Danny Huff, Paris Police Department. A wreath will be placed at the monument by George Wood and Doug Weiberg, followed by comments. Speaking at the event will be Col. Mark Gibbons, M.D. There will also be a ceremony honoring POW/MIA's. The ceremonial raising of the flag will be at the memorial site at Noon.
